Training on Multiplatform Reporting for the Rapid News Cycle

March 14 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm +04

About the Event:

In an era of online news and social media, journalists have both the opportunity and pressure to bring information to their audiences instantly through video, audio, images, and other formats. In this workshop, we’ll break down the news cycle to understand how you can strategically reach your audience, from breaking news to follow-ups months or years later.

Learn tips for efficiently producing high-quality multimedia with little wasted effort and avoid common mistakes that can affect your credibility.

This workshop will include a discussion with attendees about their goals and limitations

in multiplatform journalism, including optional critiques of recent work and advice for in-progress stories.

Please register here to attend the event.
