Panel Discussion: The conflict in Ukraine: a view from Russia

About the Event:
On April 7 at 15:00 the Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA) Program at the American University of Armenia and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan will organize a panel discussion “The Conflict in Ukraine: A View from Russia.” The panel will feature two experts on Russian foreign policy from MGIMO, Sergey Markedonov and Alexey Tokarev, as well as AUA adjunct lecturer Dr. Hovhannes Nikoghosyan. The panelists will be touching upon Russia’s continued interests in the South Caucasus in a changing global and regional context as well as presenting counter-arguments and narratives about Russia’s goals in Ukraine and Moscow’s relations with the West. The event is open to the public but places are limited. The panel will take place in PAB room 133W at AUA.
