April War in Artsakh

< 1 min read

YEREVAN, Armenia – On May 13th, American University of Armenia (AUA) College of Science & Engineering (CSE) Adjunct Lecturer David Davidian moderated a public discussion about the April war in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). The guest speakers were Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan, and Representative of the Church Ter Hayr Yenvok.

The discussion was part of the Scientific Method and Critical Thinking Class final project, where students interviewed and critically evaluated statements from experts regarding last month’s April war in Artsakh. During the class, the students learned how to identify inconsistencies in publicly-made claims, rationally explain conspiracies, and understand biases that filter the truth or selectively delete facts.
