The conference featured preconference tutorials, panel presentations, keynote speeches, as well as birds-of-a-feather sessions.

[Journal of Geochemical Exploration] The publication is entitled: “Assessment of residential soil contamination with arsenic and lead in mining and smelting towns of northern Armenia.”
The successful implementation of this project may serve as a model and encourage other universities in Armenia to develop OA publishing platforms for their academic products.
The visit aimed to explore the learning and operational modalities of AUA’s Extension to broaden participants’ understanding of the role, importance, and educational benefits of the center.
In 2015, Dr. Mirzayan met Dr. Armen Der Kiureghian, the President of AUA, and immediately realized that AUA was the best avenue in helping educate Armenia’s youth.
