MediaMax: “Armenians in 2115” report to be presented

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Armenians in 2115: Strategic Directions for the Twenty-First Century” report launch will be held on January 26 in London, Yerevan and Los Angeles.

The Armenian Communities Department of the Galouste Gulbenkian Foundation prepared the report as the outcome of a seminar organized in Lisbon in October 2014 for the global Armenian leadership. Prominent leaders, intellectuals and experts attended the seminar.

On January 26, three discussion points will be connected in real time through webcasting, so that a global audience can follow the conversation and submit questions.

Galouste Gulbenkian Foundation Armenian Communities Department representative Samuel Samuelyan, journalist Mark Grigorian and MEDIACRAT Publishing House CEO Arman Jilavyan will take part in the discussion to be held in Yerevan, American University at 21:00.

London School of Economics will host the discussions in London at 17:00. Armine Ishkanian and Hratch Tchilingirian will take part in the discussion chaired by Galouste Gulbenkian Foundation Armenian Communities Department head Razmik Panosian.

Loss Angeles discussion will be held at University of Southern California, at 09:00. Salpi Ghazarian and Raffy Ardhaljian will moderate a group of young participants.

London chair and coordinator of the discussion will be Martin Essayan, Trustee of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

“The intention of the launch, and of the report, is to instigate debates within the Armenian world regarding some of the fundamental problems facing the Armenian people in the 21st Century, encouraging future-oriented strategic thinking and research”, statement disseminated by organizers reads.
