AUA Adjunct Lecturer Hilda Grigorian Honored by Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration

YEREVAN, Armenia – American University of Armenia (AUA) Adjunct Lecturer Hilda Grigorian was honored as a distinguished member of Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. 

Pi Alpha Alpha is the national honor society formed to recognize and promote excellence in the study and practice of public affairs and administration. Moreover, it strives to foster integrity, professionalism, and creative performance in the conduct of governmental and related public service activities. Membership to Pi Alpha Alpha is extended to individuals with sterling academic performance and professional contributions. 

In recognition of her work of seven years in Afghanistan, two of which included serving as a development adviser to the  U.S. and NATO armed forces, Grigorian was also recognized by Congressman Adam Schiff  during a session of the U.S. House of Representatives. In addition,  Grigorian has received numerous accolades from the government of Afghanistan and the U.S. Department of State for her contribution in women and youth development projects in Afghanistan. Laura Friedman, former mayor of the City of Glendale in California, has also recognized Grigorian for her benevolent work in Armenia and Afghanistan.
