Dr. Mane Beglaryan Highlights Digitalization and Sustainability at SPGC Family Business Summit 2024

YEREVAN, Armenia — Dr. Mane Beglaryan, chair of the Master of Business Administration program at the American University of Armenia (AUA), recently presented her paper titled “The Role of Digitalization in Driving Sustainability among Family Firms: Evidence from Armenia” at the STEP Project Global Consortium (SPGC) Family Business Summit 2024. This year’s theme was “Unlocking legacy — The path to superior growth in family businesses.” The Summit was chaired by Carmen Calucci, associate professor at Università degli Studi di Salerno.

Dr. Beglaryan’s presentation highlighted the significant impact of digitalization on promoting sustainable practices within family businesses in Armenia. The study provided empirical evidence showing how technological advancements can foster environmental and economic sustainability in family firms, offering valuable insights to both academics and practitioners in the field.
