AUA Receives Republic of Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan at Central Bank Educational and Research Center

DILIJAN – On October 22, 2013, the American University of Armenia (AUA)’s Provost Dr. N. Dennis Leavens and Vice President of Operations/COO Mr. Ashot Ghazaryan hosted the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan at the Central Bank Educational and Research Center, where classes for AUA’s Master of Science in Economics (MSE) program are held. 

The meeting was one of a series of visits to various sites in Tavush region by President Sargsyan. As part of the tour of the facilities, Dr. Leavens and Mr. Ghazaryan spoke about AUA’s MSE program, designed in partnership with the Central Bank of Armenia. AUA’s MSE program, launched this year, has 17 students in Dilijan, seven of whom work at the Central Bank of Armenia.
