Rendezvous with AUA Alumni: E&C BA Students Tell Success Stories of Alumni

< 1 min read

Storytelling can be the best means for capturing the success and excellence that the American University of Armenia (AUA) alumni have achieved. That is what has triggered launching the AUA Stories blog, which is a collection of stories compiled by the undergraduate students of the AUA English and Communications (E&C) program. The blog reflects on the dreams, aspirations, and achievements of AUA Alumni.

The stories were created during the EC264 Public Relations Campaigns course. The students in the course made a genuine effort into bringing inspiring narratives to their readers. These stories reflect real human experiences. While completing their assignment, they learned and applied the techniques of interviewing and storytelling.

EC264 PR Campaigns is a skills-based course offered at the AUA’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS). Students explore the strategic management of public relations through analysis and development of campaigns and projects.

Narine Petrosyan, Manager of the AUA Alumni and Career Development Office, supported the AUA Stories project by connecting the students and alumni.

This rendezvous through storytelling is expected to build long-lasting relations within the larger AUA community beyond time and space.

Founded in 1991, the American University of Armenia (AUA) is a private, independent university located in Yerevan, Armenia, and affiliated with the University of California. AUA provides a global education in Armenia and the region, offering high-quality graduate and undergraduate studies, encouraging civic engagement, and promoting public service and democratic values.
