The Frontline of Media: Challenges of Media Coverage on the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict

To mark its one-year anniversary, The Bridge student newspaper in cooperation with the Alumni Club, will be hosting its first public forum led by:
Maria Titizian / AUA Lecturer, former Editor at CivilNet
Artak Beglaryan /Spokesman of the Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
Anush Babajanyan /Photographer, Founder of 4+
Anna Barsegyan /Journalist, Media Initiatives Center
Purpose:
The event will serve as a platform for the public, and media specialists to openly discuss the triumphs and tribulations regarding the current media coverage of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The working Language of the event will be Armenian.
Maria Titizian has worked with International Media Outlets such as BBC, Al Jazeera. She will share her expertise on how to work with international press during tense situations.
Artak Beglaryan will speak about the official media coverage and responsive dissemination of information.
Anush Babajanyan will present her photo story from the frontline, and share her experience.
Anna Barsegyan will recap the Armenian media’s broadcasts and publications within the framework of the topic.
