Candace Cable is an inspiring athlete (wheelchair racing, alpine ski racing, cross country ski racing), speaker, and inclusion advocate. A spinal cord injury at the age of 21 in 1975 brought about the need to create social relationships with other wheelchair users and to feel inclusion in society. Adapted sports defined her career and inspired her to show people that disability is only a life experience.
Քենդըս Քեյբլը մարզիկ է (սայլակով վազք, դահուկավազք, լեռնադահուկային սպորտ), բանախոս, ով ոգևորում և աջակցում է հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց ներգրավվել հասարակական կյանքում: 1975թ-ին 21 տարեկան հասակում նա, ստանալով ողնաշարի վնասվածք, կանգնեց սայլակավոր այլ անձանց հետ սոցիալական կապեր հաստատելու և հասարակությունում ներգրավվելու անհրաժեշտության առջև: Հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց համար հարմարեցված մարզաձևերը ձևավորեցին նրա կարիերան, ինչպես նաև սովորեցրեցին նրան, որ հաշմանդամությունը միայն կյանքի փորձ է:
