Films translated by Hakob include Soviet-Armenian classics like Triangle (Եռանկյունի) from 1967, The Men (Տղամարդիկ) from 1973, and The Big Win (Խոշոր շահում) from 1981․ Presently, Hakob is working on the 1982 classic film titled The Song of the Old Days (Հին օրերի երգը). In his talk, Hakob will delve into the project’s origins and the intricacies of translation and subtitling, as well as his forthcoming plans.
