Initiative Webinar: Health Informatics Examples

About the Event:

Health Informatics Examples is the second event in the series of initiative webinars on Health Informatics hosted by the AUA Open Center for Transformative Health Solutions and co-organized with the Avetis Health Informatics Fellowship Program.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of informatics in healthcare. Armenia has a mandate to implement national EHR, most recently launching electronic vaccination records for COVID. This series of initiative webinars introduce public health informatics as a field and the various forms of public health data surveillance used in the United States.
During the webinar, we’ll explore the digitalization of patient health records from the standpoint of both providers and patients. Additionally, we’ll discuss key issues related to the adoption of health information technology systems, such as access, health literacy, privacy, and security. Finally, we’ll explore how qualified innovative training programs can facilitate the implementation of health informatics projects in Armenia through innovative methods.

Prior registration is required. Please register here.
