Guest lecture on “The Brand, the Corporate Spirit and the Effectiveness: How are They Interrelated?”

Within the frame of BUS 307 Human Resource Management course taught by Professor Mané Beglaryan, CBE Guest Speaker Series aim to expose students to industry-specific expertise as part of their experiential learning. The upcoming session will host Mr. Aram Pakhchanian, AYB school founding member and ABBYY vice-president who will deliver a talk on “The brand, the corporate spirit and the effectiveness: how are they interrelated?” The specific focus of this session is to expose students to the interrelationship among values of the organization, the brand of the company and the drive for running an effective organization.

The session will run from 18:30-20:10 on Tuesday, January 26 in room 308E and is open to AUA community.

Aram Pakhchanian has graduated from Yerevan Scholl of Physics-Mathematics and Moscow institute of Physics. He has been working in ABBYY since 1993. Later he worked as deputy head, head of Research and Development Unit, head of Corporate Projects Unit since 1997, and the vice-president of Corporate Projects Unit from 1999 to 2004. Mr. Pakhchanian holds his current position, as well as the position of a manager of FormReader projects, since summer of 2004.
Mr. Pakhchanian stands in the origins of the company. He was actively participating in the process of business formation and development, expansion towards international markets. Today ABBYY has more than 1000 employees and offices all over the world, including countries such as Japan, China, Brazil, Australia and USA.
Aram Pakhchanian is the founding member of the board of trustees of AYB educational foundation. Since July 2014 Ara, has stopped his active participation in ABBYY in order to be able to manage AYB school. He remains in the position of the vice-president in ABYY with an authorization of presenting the company in carious public structures.
