The public lecture, titled “Nature as Contingent and Not Universal: Implications for Science and Religion,” will explore how religion and science address history.

The talk  will demonstrate how science and religion, two fields often thought to be opposed, can find commonalities. Because of a shared interest in history, theologians and scientists should be able to engage in constructive dialogue.

The presentation at AUA is part of a book manuscript in progress focusing on cognitive science and the Apostle Paul.
