AIWA-LA Members Provide Scholarships for Female Armenian Students
< 1 min readYEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) recently received four donations from members of the Armenian International Women’s Association-Los Angeles (AIWA-LA) to sponsor female Armenian students at AUA throughout their studies.
Mrs. Elizabeth Agbabian, Ms. Jessica Vartoughian and Ms. Argine Jean Kelegian, as well as the AIWA-LA Chapter as a whole, each pledged to give $10,000 over four years to fund scholarships for female Armenian students, thereby enabling AUA to continue providing an excellent education to eligible students in Armenia.
