Concluding Creative Productions at AUA

YEREVAN, Armenia — On May 11, students in the American University of Armenia’s (AUA) General Education course Creative Productions made their final presentations before an audience of faculty and peers. 

Under the guidance of adjunct lecturer Armine Abrahamyan, 31 students presented 14 projects reflecting upon the course’s focal points: creativity, originality, novelty, values, and emotions.

The group project by Anahit Baghdasaryan, Satenik Sargsyan, Knkush Ter-Arakelyan, and Gohar Adamyan featured an illustrated story titled “Invitation to Madness and Enchantment.”

Concluding Creative Productions at AUASimilarly, Taron Edward Schisas, Hasmik Hayrapetyan, and Edgar Danielyan produced the illustrated story “Creative Hunt.” Areg Petrossyan and Kristina Shatvoryan also wrote an illustrated story, “Trush Talk,” which was illustrated by Arina Bostandzhian; Gayane Abgaryan and Biaini Sepoyan authored the audiobook “Bob the Blob.” Similarly, Sona Gevorgyan and Roza Chibukhchyan created the audiobook titled “Ollie”s New Eyes,” and Alicia Markaryan and Kristine Sahakyan produced the audiobook “Lost in Infinity.” 

Ani Guloyan and Elina Karapetyan wrote the script for a short film titled “Jasmin.” 

The other students in this Creative Productions course prepared photo exhibitions, as follows: “Through the Looking Glass” by Monika Dertelyan, Ani Gharibyan, and Ani Marutyan; “The Unfeeling Visitor” by Anna Hakobyan and Ani Mkrtchyan; “Feel the Shot” by Yeva Grigoryan and Zhanetta Ghazaryan; and “Connected Identities” by Mariam Simonyan and Karen Petrosyan. All presentations were received with applause, followed by questions from the audience that offered an added opportunity for the presenters to share their experiences in their journey to the creative world, the knowledge and skills they had gained during the semester, and their future plans.

The event concluded with the musical “About to Leaves,” created by Armen Godjamanian, Aram Leblebjian, and Joseph Alakach, and the song “Universe,” written and produced by Lusine Harutyunyan.
