About the Event:
This special presentation will be conducted in a Q&A manner with questions given to Dr. Kherlopian dealing specifically with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education. The event is open to faculty and students as well as to outside visitors.

About the Speakers:
Dr. Armen Kherlopian completed his M.S. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Algorithms at Columbia University. He holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics with a focus on Machine Learning from Cornell University and completed a fellowship in High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Princeton University. Dr. Kherlopian is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at AUA with current scholarly activities focused on helping to drive a science-based economy: from primary research in machine perception to fostering the rise of startup unicorns from academic research and lab innovations.
