Soft Skills
June 12, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm +04
About the Event:
Technological advancements have made the world smaller and business global. Because of this, there is much competition to produce quality goods and services at affordable prices. To do so, employers seek to hire employees who have a combination of hard skills and soft skills. While hard skills are important for completing technical tasks, strong soft skills are required for retention and promotion in the workplace. Employers find soft skills to be just as valuable as formal education and vocational skills. This presentation will highlight the four most important soft skills that employers look for across industries such as professionalism, work ethic, oral and written communication, teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving. In addition, the presentation will help identify one’s own soft skills and improve them through professional development.
