AUA Hosts Twelfth Meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars

YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) recently hosted and co-sponsored the Twelfth Meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, which took place from July 8-12 and brought together over 200 genocide scholars from around the world.

The Opening Ceremony was held in AUA’s Large Auditorium, with the welcoming address given by the President of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Serzh Sargsyan. Prior to his speech, Mr. Sargsyan was given his first official tour of the university, accompanied by AUA President Armen Der Kiureghian and Vice President of Operations Ashot Ghazaryan.
