AUA Welcomes Diaspora Guests for an Introduction to the University

YEREVAN, Armenia – On September 29, 2015, the American University of Armenia (AUA) welcomed several guests from the Armenian Diaspora for a formal introduction to the university and its programs. Guests were invited to join AUA President Armen Der Kiureghian and Director of Admissions Arina Zohrabian in Manoogian Hall, where they viewed several videos about AUA’s history, academic programs, services for students, alumni, and more. Zohrabian and President Der Kiureghian then addressed the guests personally and provided additional information.

The visit also coincided with the start of a new exhibition in AUA’s Akian Gallery, with artwork by renowned Armenian artist Arev Petrosyan. Guests were invited to visit the exhibition, which will be giving 50% of all proceeds from the sale of artwork to AUA’s scholarship fund throughout the duration of its run.
