Come Brainstorm About an Upcoming Women’s Empowerment Conference

The American University of Armenia (AUA) plans to host a Women’s Empowerment Conference projected for April 2017. This conference will serve as a platform to openly discuss key factors that affect female empowerment in Armenia, examine successful models implemented in Armenia and elsewhere, and offer recommendations for enhancing girls’ and women’s chances for achieving their full potential.

The conference will be developed and implemented by AUA faculty, students and staff, in collaboration with organizations outside AUA, which are active in women’s issues. AUA faculty, students, and staff, and representatives of organizations active in women’s issues are invited to come to the first brain-storming session for this initiative.
