About the Event:
The Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics at the American University of Armenia (AUA) and Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics are pleased to invite scholars to a paper development workshop, titled “Closing Gender Gaps Through Economics Research,” on June 3 and 4. The workshop will be held at AUA and is part of the Swedish Institute Eastern Partnership Cooperation Project.
By connecting Armenian and international scholars in gender economics, this workshop aims to improve Armenian scholars’ knowledge of cutting-edge research methods for studying gender inequalities and evaluate policies, while also providing opportunities to improve their scholarly papers.
Dr. Lidia Farre and Dr. Sarah Smith will lead the workshop, deliver keynote speeches, plenary sessions, and engage in discussions on presented papers.
Interested scholars are invited to submit papers or extended abstracts with key results before May 15, 2025, to [email protected]
Call for papers, the submission process, and further information on the workshop can be found here.
If you are interested only in attending and listening to presentations (without submitting a paper), please register for the event here.
