About the Event:
This event marks the launch of The Brief, an independent news platform created by students of the M․A․ in Multiplatform Journalism (MAMJ) program at the American University of Armenia (AUA). It highlights the platform’s focus on meaningful storytelling, accurate reporting, and diverse perspectives.
During the event, MAMJ students will share their experiences in developing the initiative and discuss the importance of independent student media in building professional skills and preparing for careers in journalism. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussion and learn more about the process of launching a modern, multiplatform news outlet.
