The Role and Significance of the RA Prosecutor in the System of Organs of Law and Order

About the Event:
The talk will focus on the place of prosecutors in the system of state bodies, as well as their status and peculiarities. The discussion includes but is not limited to such topics as constitutional authority of prosecutors, new law on prosecution, how to become a prosecutor, co-operation between prosecutors and investigators, as well as some real-life cases.
About the Speaker:
Arshak A. Martirosyan holds LL.M. degree from both the American University of Armenia (AUA) and Yerevan State University (YSU), as well as BA in Laws from the YSU. Mr. Martirosyan has also finished the School of Prosecutors of the Republic of Armenia and is currently serving as a Prosecutor at the Military Prosecutor’s Office working on cases having special significance.
