The AI-Augmented Lawyer: How Artificial Intelligence Is Reshaping Legal Practice

About the Event:

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing how legal work gets done, from contract review and due diligence to legal research and deal execution. In this workshop, Sona Karakashian draws on her experience at a leading Silicon Valley law firm, a corporate venture fund, and a technology company to explore how AI is transforming legal practice today and what it means for the next generation of lawyers.

Participants will examine where AI tools add real value, where human judgment remains essential, and the new ethical and professional questions that arise, including confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability.

The session will close with practical guidance on the skills students and young professionals should build to thrive in an AI-enabled legal market, whether they practice in Armenia or internationally.
