May 17, 2022 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm +04
About the Event:
Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is an evidence-based approach for universal substance use screening followed by brief intervention that is based on Motivational Interviewing. SBIRT has shown to promote early detection of substance use thus allowing early intervention and prevention of substance use disorder and overcoming the disadvantages of the traditional model of waiting for substance users to seek help.
