DESCRIPTION:Bring your hard copy or electronic versions of your resumes (CVs) and cover letters for a personalized review with the instructior \nLecture: 60 minutes about resume writing according to U.S. standards and interviewing techniques with experienced and inexperienced interviewers. \nWorkshop: 1-2 hours of helping attendees write or improve their resumes and practice interview techniques\, as well as a Q&A period. \nAbout the Speaker \nRandal E. Knar has BS and MS degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering\, respectively\, with a minor in Mathematics. While his industrial experience is primarily in aerospace technical fields\, he also has significant experience in commercial industry\, retail automotive sales\, technical consulting and human resources. Mr. Knar also possesses five professional certifications\, including Certified Quality Manager\, Certified Field Engineer and Certified Six Sigma Expert. He has over 885 hours of Six Sigma (process variability reduction) training spanning more than two decades and has held a variety of positions including manufacturing program manager\, project manager\, quality assurance manager\, operations manager\, small company manufacturing engineering consultant and six-sigma expert. Since 2004\, he has submitted 24 invention disclosures with four currently in submission for US patent. In addition\, he has won four prestigious Raytheon Company corporate awards in three different professional disciplines (Excellence in Operations\, Raytheon R6s and Raytheon Supplier Diversity) for space satellite hardware and military aircraft assemblies. \nThis event is in English.
