About the Event:
Dr. Von Joeden-Forgey will discuss how genocide is a gendered experience that targets reproductive violence and life–force atrocities, with a particular focus on the Armenian Genocide.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Elisa von Joeden-Forgey, Endowed Chair of the Department of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Keene State College and Co-President of the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, is the former President of Genocide Watch and First Vice President of the International Association of Genocide Scholars.
