SUMMARY:Meet & Greet With AUA-WPI Students
DESCRIPTION:About the Event: \nAt the beginning of January\, eight AUA students traveled to Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) for a seven-week study-abroad experience. The students are now continuing their work in Armenia on community-based projects developed as part of WPI’s Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP). \nThe Meet & Greet reception will take place on March 16 at 2:15 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge\, PAB. It will offer the AUA community an opportunity to meet and talk with students participating in the AUA–WPI study-abroad program. Attendees will learn about the students’ experiences during their time at WPI and the collaborative projects they are currently working on in Armenia. \nThe event will also provide an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the structure and impact of this unique study-abroad program and the collaboration between AUA and WPI. \n  \nAbout the Speakers: \nThe study-abroad program is co-instructed by Norayr Ben-Ohanian\, adjunct lecturer at the Zaven P. and Sonia Akian College of Science and Engineering\, and Dr. Aaron Sakulich\, associate professor at WPI\, who will also join the reception. \n  \nRegistration:  \nTo confirm your attendance\, please register here.
