About the Event:
AUA Extension is offering a training course titled “IP in Action: Basics for Future Innovators,” under the Intellectual Property Training Program (IPTP) in collaboration with the Armenian Intellectual Property Office.
This interactive program is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of intellectual property protection. You will learn how to distinguish among different types of IP rights and understand their respective protection mechanisms; identify various forms of IP infringements and their impact; and explore ways to take the next steps to commercializing IP through licensing, franchising, and creating IP assets. The course comprises lectures and practical activities especially tailored for youth with little or no prior IP knowledge.
The course will take place on June 15-16 at the American University of Armenia, running across two sessions from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A non-refundable application fee of 5,000 AMD applies.
The course will be delivered by WIPO Academy-certified trainers.
