About the Speakers:

Martino Ruggiero is currently Manager Quality Analytics for Philip Morris International, Neuchatel, Switzerland. In his professional career, he has contributed to the development of several consumer products in the Internet-of-things (IoT) domain. He was a postdoctoral fellow within the Embedded Systems Lab at EPFL of Lausanne, where his research focused on HW/SW embedded system design optimizations for IoT systems. 

He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy.
