About the Event:
We are thrilled to announce the second round of the “Introduction to Aerospace Engineering” workshop, set to take place from October 7-24 at AUA.
Building on the success of the July workshop, this three-week program offers another chance for students to explore the world of aerospace engineering. Through a series of expert-led lectures, participants will gain insight into the core areas of the field, from the history of flight to modern engineering techniques.
The six lectures, presented by leading professionals, include:
- “Aerodynamics: History and Key Concepts” by Dr. Oshin Peroomian, CTO at Metacomp Technologies Inc.
- “Propulsion Systems in Aerospace” by Dr. Oshin Peroomian
- “Fundamentals of Flight Mechanics” by Dr. Hrachya Kocharyan, assistant professor at AUA
- “Aerospace Structures and Materials” by Dr. Hrachya Kocharyan,
- “Orbital Mechanics and Control Systems” by Avetik Grigoryan, president of “AYAS” Aerospace Society, CEO of Bazoomq
- “Mission Design and Systems Engineering” by Masis Komrokian, technical director for space programs at the Center for Scientific Innovation and Education
Workshops will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm in Room 314W, PAB, AUA.
