About the Event:
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of informatics in healthcare. This initiative webinar introduces public health informatics as a field and the various forms of public health data surveillance used in the United States. We’ll explore the digitalization of patient health records from the standpoint of both providers and patients. Additionally, we’ll discuss key issues related to the adoption of health information technology systems such as access, health literacy, privacy, and security.
