Human vs Artificial Intelligence: Applications in the Real World

May 27, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm +04

Human vs Artificial Intelligence: Applications in the Real World, Tigran Atoyan has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Oxford University - American University of Armenia (AUA) Akian College of Science and Engineering

About the Event:

We are pleased to invite you all to the exceptional “Human vs Artificial Intelligence: Applications in the Real World” seminar by Dr. Tigran Atoyan, Oxford University.

Deep learning, autoencoders, and their applications in natural language processing have enabled breakthroughs in machine learning (ML) applications in the industry during the past decade. This has led to further capital inflows into ML-enabled technologies.

Machine learning has its limitations, and human input is still critical for complex applications. The human-in-the-loop approach to designing data-driven systems is the optimum technique in such circumstances.

During the seminar, you will be immersed in the discussion on cases of combining ML and human expert input in concrete industry applications.

About the Speaker:

Tigran Atoyan has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Oxford University. After graduate school, he worked for 5 years in both systematic and discretionary trading funds in London and Geneva. He then entered the technology space by being involved as co-founder as well as head of research in two different FinTech firms in London. He recently launched an AI-enabled startup that aims at enabling knowledge transfer in organizations.
