Freedom House and Its Work in the Region

About the Event:
Freedom House is an international human rights NGO that works in Armenia to create spaces for dialogue among civil society, the government, policymakers, journalists, and the public to combat disinformation and defend democracy and fundamental freedoms. This discussion will focus on the role of international organizations in democracy promotion, in particular on Freedom House and its work in the region.
The event will address the following questions:
- What is democracy?
- Why is it important to promote democracy?
- What is the role of non-profits in promoting and defending democracy?
