FORSEE Visiting Speaker’s Seminar With Professor Paul Boghossian

About the Event:

On June 11, Professor Paul Boghossian will kick off the research and discussion events of the Horizon Europe FORSEE project at the AUA Center for Ethics in Public Affairs with a talk on the extent to which Large Language Models could approximate or achieve human understanding and knowledge.

The talk will be held in a hybrid format and will provide ample opportunity for discussion and questions on artificial intelligence and understanding.

Participants will receive a Zoom link and some background reading material upon registering. We also encourage in-person attendance and the opportunity to engage directly with Professor Boghossian as well as the researchers at the AUA Center for Ethics in Public Affairs.
