About the Event:
This workshop will focus on some of the major ethics issues that confront journalists and how United States news organizations are addressing them. Dr. Bimbisar Irom will discuss and generate ideas about navigating ethical concerns related to issues such as loyalty, objectivity, privacy, and more.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Bimbisar Irom is an assistant professor in the Department of Journalism and Media Production at Washington State University. He conducts research in the area of humanitarian communication with a particular focus on forced migration.
