About the Speaker:
Alexander Yesayan co-founded Ucom CJSC back in 2007. This was followed by a successful acquisition of Orange Armenia by Ucom. His excessive entrepreneurial experience and knowledge in telecommunication industry led him to build an entirely new company – Team Telecom Armenia – a new telecom company in Armenia․ The company continues its expansion currently, which proves the recent acquisition of VEON/Beeline Armenia with the current total number of over 2,000 employees.
Alexander is a motivating and inspirational entrepreneur who will share his journey and set an example of successful leadership.
Along with entrepreneurial activities, Alexander is also an active member of the Armenian technological ecosystem. He was elected as a Board of Directors Member by the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), the organizer of World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT).
He was also the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of WCIT 2019, one of the largest and most prestigious ICT events in the world. Alexander has been the President of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) since 2015.
