Celebration of Completion of USAID/ASHA-Funded Project in Mihran and Elizabeth Agbabian Hall

Join AUA on Friday, May 22nd at 11:30 AM in Mihran and Elizabeth Agbabian Hall for a celebration of the completion of activities funded by ASHA/USAID grant 11-00027! They included: a) creating integrated technology classrooms, b) upgrading equipment in academic and administrative offices and c) replacing the 40-year old elevators of the Main building.
Come help us celebrate the results of the 3-year teamwork among University departments and outside partners and see the plaque unveiling to recognize ASHA’s support in the elevators’ replacement.
Ms. Catherine Crawford, the ASHA Director, and Mr. Michael Bozek, the ASHA Engineer, will be visiting AUA on May 22 to personally see the projects carried out with the program’s help, to meet the AUA community and to learn more about university activities. You will have a chance to meet them at the reception and express your gratitude for their continuous support to the institution.
Please be reminded that with ASHA/USAID’s support, AUA has renovated most of the classrooms and offices in the Main Building, has equipped the classrooms and offices on the Main Campus, has replaced all windows of the Main Building, has renovated the AGBU Papazian Library, and has implemented a number of other important projects.
Presently, AUA is in receipt of two new grants (awarded in 2014) that will allow for the refurbishing of the Main Building basement for better services to students, creating a collaborative study space in Agbabian Hall, and establishing an Innovation and Technology Incubation Center.
