About the Event:
Ever thought of hosting a podcast, not just listening to one? The Green Agenda Armenia project is launching a branded podcast series about green transition, sustainability, and environmental topics in Armenia. We are inviting students from communication, media, journalism, and environmental studies to apply for a full-day in-person podcast hosting workshop on January 31, with the chance to become an official podcast host for an international project.
The project is implemented by the AUA Acopian Center for the Environment in partnership with the Stockholm Environment Institute (Sweden), and funded by Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
What You Will Learn:
- How to host and moderate a podcast, with hands-on guidance from a prominent Armenian podcast host
- How to interview experts in a natural, confident way
- How to talk about green transition in a clear and engaging way
- How to spot and handle misinformation and disinformation around green transition topics
- How podcast communication works in a studio
Some participants will be selected to co-host or host real podcast episodes of the Green Agenda Armenia Podcast. That means:
- You are introduced as a podcast host in a branded series for an international project
- You get real communication experience for your CV
- You stay engaged in the project’s communication activities

Applicants with strong motivation, curiosity, and reliability who want to
- Gain real media experience
- Be part of an international project
- Build a public communication profile early in their career
- Work on environmental topics that shape Armenia’s future
This Opportunity Is Open to:
- Students of communication, journalism, politics and governance, or environmental and sustainability sciences
- Students interested in podcasting, storytelling, science and policy communication, and public engagement
Selection Criteria:
Participants will be selected based on
- Motivation to engage in green transition science and policy communication
- Interest in podcasting and public dialogue
- Availability to engage beyond the workshop, if selected as a host
