YEREVAN, Armenia — The American University of Armenia Master of Laws (LL.M.) program, in collaboration with Concern Dialog Law Firm, invites applications for participation in the Corporate Law Summer School. The program offers a unique opportunity to gain not only in-depth theoretical knowledge of corporate law, but also practical insight into this complex and highly demanded field.

Why participate?
Within the framework of the three-day intensive program, we will explore practical issues and skills related to the establishment of commercial organizations, the key rights of participants/shareholders, corporate governance, as well as the registration of rights to shares, transfer of rights, and other specifics of maintaining shareholder registers.

How to apply
Participation in the summer school is free of charge. The program is intended for senior law students and young professionals. Prior work experience in corporate law is not required. Selection will be based on submitted CVs and motivation letters.

Please send your CV and a short motivation letter explaining why you would like to participate to [email protected] by June 5, indicating “Corporate Law Summer School” in the subject line.

The language of instruction is Armenian.

Brief program agenda

  • Day 1: Fundamentals of corporate law, establishment of commercial organizations, activities of joint-stock companies, share registration, and its specifics.
  • Day 2: Rights of participants and shareholders (Part 1), key corporate transactions (investments, shareholder, and other agreements).
  • Day 3: Corporate governance, rights of participants/shareholders (Part 2).
