Information Systems Agency of Armenia Presents Young Professionals Engagement Program to AUA Students

02.02.2026

YEREVAN, Armenia — On January 30, the American University of Armenia (AUA) Career Services hosted representatives from the Information Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA), who presented the Agency’s Young Professionals Engagement Program to University students. The program aims to empower students to build practical skills and start their careers in the digital sector while contributing to the development of Armenia’s digital society and economy.

The ISAA representatives introduced the initiative’s goals, structure, and opportunities to prospective applicants. The event brought together students and early-career specialists interested in technology, digital governance, cybersecurity, and public sector innovation.

According to the organizers, the program is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience, direct collaboration with leading experts, and active involvement in the rapidly evolving world of information systems. Over the course of 12 months, selected participants will rotate across three different ISAA departments, spending four months in each. This rotational format is intended to help young professionals explore multiple career paths and gain a broad understanding of digital government operations.

Participants will have the opportunity to work within several specialized teams, including Cybersecurity, Public Relations and Communications, Interoperability and Data Governance, Finance and Operations, UI/UX and Digital Service Delivery, Citizen Lab, and Cloud Transformation. Each track offers exposure to real projects and operational processes that support Armenia’s ongoing digital transformation.

By working across departments, participants can better understand their strengths and interests, helping them make informed career choices. Top-performing participants will be considered for full-time employment at the Agency upon successful completion of the program.

The Young Professionals Engagement Program is a paid position, making it accessible to motivated students who want to gain meaningful professional experience while continuing their education.

The feedback from students was positive, with one mentioning, “The event was very insightful. I would really love to attend more similar sessions.”
