YEREVAN, Armenia — The American University of Armenia (AUA) Open Education’s Test Center (TC) stood out among 8,000 other Prometric test centers in more than 180 countries and was recognized for outstanding operational performance for Q1 of fiscal year 2023 (October-December, 2022). The TC had also received this recognition for Q4 of fiscal year 2022 (July-September, 2022).

The recognition came as a result of the center’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service to test takers. The award highlighted the center’s “outstanding operational performance.”

In the calendar year 2022, about 4,000 test-takers, of which 800 in the Prometric TC, took various tests at the Open Education TC. Along with local candidates, students and professionals from Armenia and the region come to take their certification and university entrance exams at Open Education TC, which administers a number of international tests, including SAT, ACT, TOEFL iBT, IELTS, as well as GRE, TOEFL iBT, USMLE STEP 1 and STEP 2, CFA, UKVI, and others solely administered by the Prometric TC.

“The recognition was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team at Open Education TC. Every member of the team, from our senior program coordinator to the TC administrators and the technical support team, played a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of the center,” AUA Open Education Director Anoush Yedigaryan affirmed.

“The recognition served as a source of pride and motivation for our team. It was a clear indication that our efforts have not gone unnoticed,” remarked Anna Maghakyan, senior program coordinator who is responsible for organizing and administering the international exams.

The Open Education TC remains committed to maintaining its high standards of performance and continuing to provide exceptional service to test takers. The Open Education TC team is convinced that this recognition is just the beginning of what is yet to come.
