AUA Students Mentored at Indigo Branding Agency

YEREVAN, Armenia — The American University of Armenia (AUA) is pleased to share that students from the Bachelor of Arts in Business (BAB) program of the AUA Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics (CBE) had the opportunity to work with Indigo Branding Agency on their final projects. 

Within the framework of the Brand Management course taught by Liana Tadevosyan, AUA students had the opportunity to be guest lectured by Aram Azarian, founder and art director of Indigo Branding Agency. In an insightful talk, Azarian presented and elaborated on some typical cases from their day-to-day operations at the branding agency. He also gave a glimpse of the methods and approaches they use to get a deeper understanding of the problem and to suggest to their customers solutions that will add value to their business. 

After the guest lecture, Azarian expressed eagerness to continue the collaboration and offered the students a unique opportunity to get weekly mentorship at Indigo Branding Agency to complete their final group projects. 

“During those weekly meetings, students discuss their projects and get guidance on creating brand platforms and content that will succeed. Based on real-life cases from the Armenian market and abroad, the Indigo Branding team gives students more insight into the brand positioning process, its nuances, and how it’s done in the real world. The students are able to see theory applied to practice,” remarks Tadevosyan.

On every Saturday over two months, the Indigo Branding Agency conducted mentorship discussions with AUA BAB students in its office. This extended collaboration with the company has helped students to successfully complete their final projects. They will present their findings and creative ideas to their respective project clients in the second week of December.
