Industrialization of AI: The Challenges

About the Event:
We are already at the age of implementation and industrialization of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Deep Learning is being applied all across industries to automate and perform tasks that was not possible before. This will require to reliably deliver the AI to variety of environments and platforms (cloud, edge etc).
Building and managing end-to-end AI/ML systems has obstacles on every step of the way: starting from data acquisition, processing up until deployment and scaling of model inference. There are multitude of engineering challenges in building such systems. This talk will explore those challenges and difficulties with examples and walk through building end-to-end production ML/AI.
About the Speaker:
Gevorg Soghomonyan has a Master’s degree from AUA Akian College of Science and Engineering. He is a machine learning engineer and a development productivity tools enthusiast. He was one of the first five engineers at an Irish Startup Altocloud (now Genesys), where he helped build AI among other activities. Gevorg is the technical co-founder at Aimhubio – an AI sharing and publishing service (in stealth mode).
