AUA Extension to Offer Strategic Marketing and Career Coaching Trainings

YEREVAN, Armenia– In May 2017, the American University of Armenia (AUA) Extension in cooperation with ProfAl company will offer two one-day training sessions essential for those who have an interest in market-based planning and “How to Write a Winning Global Résumé”.

The first training session is based on leveraging key managerial insight about what it takes to succeed in the marketplace. Through this fast-paced day of discovery, participants will gain a better understanding of value and customer acquisitions and retention. Participants will also learn about product positioning, effective ways to calculate profitability on a market basis, and more. The trainings will be led by Marco Protano, an experienced entrepreneur, manager, consultant, and professor.

As a passionate, proven educator who has trained thousands of executive, managers, and students worldwide, Mr. Protano was voted “Professor of the Year” by veterans of his classroom ten times in eight years. Currently, he is the Managing Director of the Nurture Company, responsible for training, coaching and advising growth-focused ventures on Market-based Planning & Management.

A second course on Career Coaching will be offered to all AUA Business students in both graduate and undergraduate programs (pre-registration is required, pending approval and space availability), as well as corporate and individual participants who attend the first training on May 15 (again, pending approval and space availability). In this seminar participants will gain the skills needed to crafting a résumé lands them their dream job. Using proprietary templates, supporting documentation and active discussion, students and attendees will also learn advanced skills such as how to changing careers using an “objective statement” résumé, tailoring an attention‐grabbing cover letter, and the key to frequently asked interview questions. Most notably, the seminar will conclude with one‐on‐one résumé reviews with lecturer Andrew Kosztyo of Harvard Business School.

Andrew Kosztyó is one of the US’s most accomplished résumé writers and career coaches. He has written hundreds of high‐impact CVs for a range of clients including Fortune 100 executives. He has also lectured on global career development and résumé‐writing in business capitals such as Casablanca, Dubai, and Shanghai. In addition, he has written weekly columns in Hungary’s largest newspaper (Magyar Hirlap) entitled “The Art of the Entrepreneur” and for TheStreet.com entitled “The Career Iconoclast.” Currently, Mr. Kosztyó serves as a Risk Officer on the J.P. Morgan “Country Risk” desk and is a veteran of the venture capital, investment banking, and high‐tech sectors.
