TRDP Beneficiary from an Armenian Border Village Featured on ArmeniaTV

YEREVAN, Armenia – Gurgen Abovyan, a resident in the border village of Koti, is a successful small business owner, thanks in part to the American University of Armenia Turpanjian Rural Development Program (TRDP). Abovyan was featured on ArmeniaTV’s Panadzev that aired on November 8.

The program’s coverage of the entrepreneur’s cheese and honey production business along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was positive and comprehensive. Koti, which lies in the Tavush region of Armenia, is under constant danger of Azerbaijani shelling and sniper fire.
