< 1 min read

YEREVAN, Armenia – On October 8, 2015 the American University of Armenia (AUA) College of Business and Economics (CBE) hosted Arman Atoyan, Founder and CEO at X-TECH and Co-Founder and CEO at ARLOOPA Inc, for a presentation on the customer development process, within the framework of the CBE Innovation and Entrepreneurship talk series.

Mr. Atoyan presented X-TECH, one of the few IT companies making progress in developing applications and technologies in the fields of augmented and virtual realities. The X-TECH team has already successfully developed 10 games in the virtual reality field and currently runs different projects with various IT companies within and outside Armenia.

The discussion then turned to Mr. Atoyan’s new startup, ARLOOPA, a mobile application that uses augmented reality technology. The application recognizes particular pictures and overlays them onto video, allowing users to create rich digital experiences.

During the discussion, the students were given the opportunity to try ARLOOPA’s virtual reality games using a special viewing box. The talk concluded with a Q&A session about the company and its future plans. One CBE student was even invited to X-TECH to interview for a possible internship.
