Hayk Nersisyan Appointed New Program Chair of BS in Computational Sciences

HNYEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) is pleased to share that Hayk Nersisyan has been appointed as the new Program Chair of the BS in Computational Sciences program.

Dr. Nersisyan earned his PhD in Mathematics in 2011 from the University of Cergy-Pontoise in France and spent the next two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics in Spain.

Dr. Nersisyan has taught several mathematics courses at AUA as an adjunct lecturer since 2013. His research interests include controllability and stabilization of partial differential equations, equations of fluid mechanics, and optimization of water wave equations.
